Introduction

TI Lab:

Transplant Immunology laboratory began in 1982; Established under Guidance of Dr. H. L. Trivedi and it is first well-established clinical Histocompatibility (HLA) laboratory in Gujarat-India, follow standards set by the American Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ASHI), Indian Society for Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ISHI), National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories [NABL] and by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA).

Molecular Lab

• HLA Typing Laboratory use PCR (Polymerase chain reaction) based methodology for HLA typing.
• HLA – A, B, Cw, DRB1, DRB3/4/5, DQ, DP, High Resolution HLA typing by Next Generation Sequencing-11 loci, Bone-Marrow Registry

Antibody Screening

• Serology Lab

  serological cross match against donor lymphocytes.

  different types of lymphocyte cross match such as AUTO, LCM, DTT, AHG, by CDC method using Terasaki trays.

  separate T-cell & B-cell cross match.
