The Institute of Kidney Diseases and Research Centre (IKDRC), Institute of Transplantation Sciences (ITS) in Ahmedabad has been awarded the "Best Government Hospital in Organ Transplantation" Award by the National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization (NOTTO). This award recognizes IKDRC's outstanding work in the field of organ transplantation and is one of three awards received by Gujarat for its efforts in organ donation, the awards were presented as part of the 15th Indian Organ Donation Day celebrations.
